About Me PDF Print E-mail

I live in Toledo Ohio where I currently attend University of Toledo. I am majoring in Computer Science Engineering Technology. I have been programming for six years taking courses in (X)HTML, CSS, Flash, Javascript, Java, C++, and Python. On my own I have learned MySql, PHP, ASP, VB, and C#. I also have recently become pretty good with Programmable Logic Controls, PLC. I know Allen Bradley and Siemens. While I know Ladder Logic better than Statement Lists or Function Block Diagrams, I do have experience with them. I have done everything from simple cash register, like at a fast food restaurant, to programming pumps and pneumatic robotic arms.

I run my own website design business. I have always wanted to open a website full of tutorials that can help people grasp the basics. I had nothing to go by when I started except old text books from the library. It is so much easier to be able to disect source code, modify it, and learn how it works. That is what I am hoping to give to everyone.

Programming can be extremely frustrating. I know. But, there is an amazing feeling once you get what you had been striving for. So with that, good luck and enjoy.

Hey Andrew, my name is Jordan and I took java and physics 2 with you last semester. I struggle with programming quite a bit, and your right about it being frustrating and such. However I WANT so badly to be a good programmer because I know how powerful it is. You have a great website here with a lot of great info. Actually I found it on accident looking up a a hw question for assembly. I'm also a cset. Maybe we will meet in a class in the future. Cheers!

"Hats off to you, you are really doing some great things, I stopped by to check out your new mp3 player for our site and noticed your accomplishments- you are moving right along. Keep up the excellent work! Peace and may the hand of God be upon you."

I gotta say I agree. Very nice job here and thank you for keeping things updated regularly.
Thank you!

Thank you very much. It is people like you that help me keep going. Sometimes its hard to think of new things to write about that will help people or develop new components that help others since it can be a grueling and frustrating process, but when I log on and see comments like this, I know why I do it. So thank you!
A salute!
