Bing is the new search engine from Microsoft, taking over the previous search engine, Microsoft live. Bing like other search engines, crawl and index vast amount data on Internet to return the most relevant results for its users. Bing boasts of providing search results that will quickly answer the search question.

Bing categorizes the results in different ways to make it more user friendly.

1. Content: The amount of content on a web page seems to be a big factor for Bing, compared to other search engines. It is a good idea to have content of atleast 300 words on your page.

2. Domain age: Bing seems to be considering domain age seriously as domain age shows experience. So it is a good idea to purchase an old domain.

3. Good title: Titles that correlate to the subject does very well in Bing results. So make sure that you write informative titles that describes in brief about the subject of the page.

4. Outbound links: Many search engines, including Google reduce your page rank and give it to others if they encounter outbound links on your page. Bing, on the other hand seems to love these links.

5. Anchor text: Using anchor text when linking to your site always helps in search results. Search engines decide the quality of the site depending on the number of inbound links your page has with quality anchor text.

6. Blogging is bad: Bing seems to be neglecting blogs as they don't seem to rank well in Bing search results.
